Abandoned Heaven
We come through
An earthly portal
Into this world
Of pain, of suffering
Heartaches and death
But amidst all this
From time to time
We see a glimpse
Of whom we came from
Yet we voluntarily blink
It away into non-existence
And when we do
The day turns cold
And starts to rain
Tears of loneliness and sadness
w.e.b
